Original Floor Plan - Pre-1847. The original hacienda did not include the building in the upper right corner which was added later. The use of right angles was apparently not as important then as it seems to be now. |

Current Floor Plan of Hacienda - Restoration of 2001-2002. A very modern new kitchen and restrooms were added to the back part of the hacienda and a covered deck was built in the central interior courtyard. |

#1 - During the restoration of the hacienda a board was found inside one of the walls. On the board was written Put floor and partition in July 1926. Remodeled floor July 1935." It was signed by Edm. #2 - These rooms were the 'apartment' of Mario Cardenas, the last family member to occupy the hacienda. Currently for lease. |

#3 - This was called "sala de recibo" meaning the receiving room, because that is where they recieved people who visited the home. Currently occupied by Tony Whitecrow's Dearskin Art & Western Collectibles |

#6 - This space was originally built for and occupied by Ralph Cardenas at a later time. For lease as part of restaurant Package or as seperate rental. |

Central Courtyard and Watersource. The old well was updated w/ waterfall and local plant garden. The narrow entrance to the central courtyard are called a "saguan". There are two saguans - one is original and swallows still nest there. The second is newer, allows access to the mountain patio, and once was part of Mario's kitchen. |
